HassleRelief HR

Privacy Policy

Last updated: 4 August 2026

HassleRelief HR is scheduling, time tracking and payroll software for small businesses. We hold employment information because the software cannot work without it — and we hold as little of it as the job allows.

We do not sell your information. We do not share it with advertisers. We do not build profiles on your staff. The short version: your business's data belongs to your business, and only your business can see it.

Who is responsible for your information

HassleRelief HR is operated from Nassau, The Bahamas. For questions about this policy, or to make a request about your information, contact privacy@hasslereliefhr.com.

Where a business uses HassleRelief HR to manage its staff, that business controls its staff records and decides what to store. We process that information on the business's behalf and under its instructions. If you are an employee with a question about your own records, ask your employer first — they can correct or remove most things directly.

What we do not collect

Location

This deserves plain language, because location is where most apps are least honest.

If your employer switches on the geofence, then at the moment you tap clock in or clock out, the app asks your device how far you are from the workplace. It calculates that distance and keeps only the distance — for example "1.4 km away". Your coordinates are discarded immediately and never sent to our servers.

How your information is protected

Who we share information with

We use a small number of service providers, each handling one specific job:

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for advertising. We disclose information to authorities only where required by law, and we tell the affected business unless we are legally prohibited from doing so.

How long we keep it

Deleting your account and your information

You can delete your account from inside the app at any time, without contacting us:

  1. Open More
  2. Tap Privacy & data
  3. Tap Delete my account

If you are a staff member, this removes your sign-in, your profile, your messages and your notification settings. Your employer keeps the payroll and time records they are legally required to retain — we cannot delete an employer's statutory records on your behalf, and no software should let us.

If you are a business owner, deleting your business removes everything belonging to it: staff records, schedules, time records, pay history, messages, documents and applications. This cannot be undone. You are offered a full export of your data before anything is deleted.

Deletion takes effect immediately, and copies in encrypted backups are removed within 30 days.

Your rights

Whatever your location, you may:

Most of these you can do yourself in the app. For anything else, email privacy@hasslereliefhr.com and we will respond within 30 days.

Children

HassleRelief HR is workplace software and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly create accounts for anyone under the minimum legal working age in their jurisdiction. Where an employer lawfully employs a young worker, that employer is responsible for obtaining any consent the law requires.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy in a way that meaningfully affects you, we will notify you in the app before the change takes effect. The date at the top always reflects the current version.
